Kale Robinson, Founder / Head Coach
Certified Nutrition Coach, Strength and Conditioning Coach

Kale is a Certified Nutrition Coach and Strength & Conditioning Coach. He specializes in sport and exercise nutrition and body composition/performance training. He completed over 15,000 hours of in-person coaching before moving to an online platform and has over 19 years experience working in the health and fitness industry. Kale’s clients have ranged from everyday people looking to improve their health and body composition to professional athletes looking to optimize their performance.
Born and raised in Norfolk County, Ontario, Kale grew up in the communities of Normandale, Waterford, Port Dover, and spent most of his formative years in Simcoe. From an early age, he immersed himself in a variety of sports including hockey, baseball, volleyball, track, cross country, and basketball – as both a dedicated player and coach.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Recreation & Health Education from Brock University in St. Catharine’s, Ontario, Kale moved to Victoria, British Columbia and began his career working as a Personal Trainer. He started helping clients transform their bodies through fitness and nutrition coaching at a local health and fitness facility where he was later named Director of Fitness & Training. He was named Trainer of the Year in 2010, is a three-time recipient of his former company’s President’s Club award from 2013-2015, and was also the recipient of the True 2 Form award for his outstanding service to his clients and organization.
Now as the founder and Coach at MacroNutrition, Kale has spent the past 9+ years enhancing the quality of life for our clients by ensuring optimal body composition and performance through non-restrictive nutrition and fitness coaching. He is committed to helping others look and feel their absolute best while maintaining a fun and balanced lifestyle.
Virginia Clough, Dietitian
Registered Dietitian, Certified Nutrition Coach

Passionate about health and nutrition, Virginia’s love for food motivated her to build a career around healthy eating. She is a Registered Dietitian through both the College of Dietitians of British Columbia and the College of Dietitians of Ontario, and a Certified Nutrition Coach. She began her education at the University of Victoria studying human biology and food science. She later transferred to the University of British Columbia in Vancouver where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Food Nutrition and Health, with a Major in Dietetics.
Following graduation, she acquired her certification as a Nutrition Coach, specializing in sport and exercise nutrition for beginners, competitive athletes, and everything in between. She excels at assessing client needs, identifying nutritional gaps and deficiencies, and prescribing appropriate foods and supplementation to improve health and enhance performance.
Before joining MacroNutrition, Virginia combined her love for science and enthusiasm for helping others by working as the Director of Food Services at a local independent living facility. During this time, she was responsible for the health and wellbeing of residents by providing nutritionally balanced meal options and diet & lifestyle guidance to support their dynamic needs.
Now working at MacroNutrition as a Registered Dietitian, Virginia’s goal is to improve the quality of life for our clients by providing tailored education and support to all individuals looking to transform their bodies and improve their health.
Kaori Kay Pimentel, Success Coach
Registered Holistic Nutrition Practitioner, Certified Personal Trainer

Kay is a Registered Holistic Nutrition Practitioner (RHNP) and an ACE certified Personal Trainer. She specializes in fat loss & weight management with a macro tracking approach.
In addition to her diploma in nutrition coaching and counselling, Kay has experience working in management in the fitness industry.
Kay shares this sentiment: “The profound relationship between lifestyle, nutrition, and overall health focusing on the connection between mind-body-spirit is often forgotten today when trying to reach a physical goal. To heal one part, you must also acknowledge the whole while being mindful of the delicate balance between all body systems.”
She believes that building our understanding of the body & mind connection is essential to support happiness & wellness in our life-long education journey.
When working with clients, Kay focuses on promoting balance and overall wellness while helping them reach their goals in a way that is sustainable for them.
Jennifer Commisso, Success Coach
Holistic Nutritionist, Certified Personal Trainer

Jennifer is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and Personal Trainer with over 8 years of experience coaching clients both in-person and online. She specializes in sustainable fat loss, habit-based nutrition, and training programs designed to improve strength, mobility, and overall well-being.
With certifications from the Edison Institute of Holistic Nutrition and Fit Chicks Academy, Jennifer combines formal education with her own lived experience navigating restrictive dieting, hormonal imbalance, and body image challenges. These experiences shaped her belief that meaningful, lasting progress comes from balance, consistency, and a non-restrictive relationship with food and fitness.
Jennifer’s coaching is rooted in evidence-based nutrition and training, utilizing a macro-based framework and individualized protocols to help clients reach their goals without extremes. She is known for her compassionate, dependable, and communicative approach, ensuring clients feel supported every step of the way. She is dedicated to helping individuals build confidence, develop sustainable habits, and achieve lasting results that feel good inside and out.
Bruce Burkett, Success Coach
Certified Health Coach, Personal Trainer

From the moment Bruce stepped into a high school weight room, he was hooked on health and fitness. What began as a fascination with strength training turned into a passion for understanding how the human body works. He spent those early years writing programs for himself and his wrestling teammates, constantly studying nutrition, exercise, and anything that could help them perform better.
Over the last 20+ years, that early curiosity has evolved into a career Bruce loves. He has competed in bodybuilding, coached competitors through their own prep, and had the privilege of working with athletes across hockey, football, basketball, soccer — even a junior Olympian. Along the way, he discovered that what truly drives him is not competition, but helping people transform their lives.
Today, as a certified Health Coach, Bruce’s passion is guiding everyday individuals through the often-confusing world of fitness, nutrition, and healthy living. He believes in a whole-person approach — supporting not just workouts and nutrition, but also lifestyle, mindset, and long-term habits that create real, sustainable change.
Bruce’s goal is simple: to help people feel stronger, healthier, more confident, and more in control of their lives. Ultimately, he wants to pass on the gift of health so his clients can inspire the people they care about, creating a ripple effect that goes far beyond the gym.
